Koko Blur

Was a really really bad day for taking pictures. Everything came out blur. So yeah couple of weeks ago Gold, his gf Esther and her friend came to Melbourne to visit. So we met up a couple of times for food.

Took them to Koko Black, I prefer Koko Black over the rest. This is their popular tasting plate, I forgot what is it called. Even though they're quite pricey but I prefer the way they balance the taste of their chocolate. It's  subtle, not too sweet and bitter that creates a balance which does not put you off.

Bad picture again, Gold got some cone macadamia thing. We got the bread and butter pudding, we saw it on the board and ordered, it costs like $14, so we expected it to be quite huge.. but it turned out to be like the size of 3 1/2 gardenia slices stacked together.. fail.

Roller Coaster

Went through a typhoon of emotions. 

My adverts did well, gumtree especially. Appreciate the help from my friends, one friend posted the ad on a Vietnamese forum and Eunji posted it on Korean website.

Yesterday,  morning I finally got the call! CRAZY HAPPY ... I got the place I super wanted. Sent in my bank statements and had to go submit my deposit the next day... anticipating.

Yesterday, 8 people turned up for the inspection. I was so happy that I got someone to rent the place and proceeded to submit the potential tenants to my landlord to pick. He then suddenly reminded me that the person has to pay the amount that my sister and I are currently paying which is for two people, but I advertised the amount for a single person. 


The price difference is too big to even consider paying a bit more. $780 and $1040 ? 

Obviously I went into stress m.o.d.e. Like if I mess up or if I don't get someone in time? Thoughts like having to end up paying rentals for two properties came in mind. No one would want to look for rooms next week because uni is starting?! It's like if I trip and fall during project move out  everyone will say it is my fault. The fracking weight I put on myself. 


Yesterday, I couldn't sleep. I ended up sleeping at 6:30am and waking up at 8:00am by phone calls and emails... another batch of potentials. Unsure if anyone would still take the place, I resulted to opt to pay whatever cost on top of the rent that they will pay. I tried persuading people on the phone* and stuff that I really don't wanna list here. Come and ask me.
So another 4 people came today and inspected the place. One guy came, looks kinda cute actually, decided that he wanted the place. I made him give me a deposit incase he backs off. From then on I started rejecting calls... :D


So many people called that I have so many random phone numbers on my phone. This was so hard to summarise...........


SO YEAH, I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY MANAGED TO MOVE!
all I have left to do is  start creating accounts for utilities like water, electricity, gas and internet. Buy a modem.
I have 5 DAYS to pack and move. I have to arrange for the movers to come and help me move my stuff. Need
a place to bunk for 3 nights. Need to borrow the vacuum cleaner from my sister ... 

Stress

The doctor said that I'm stressed out and told me to relax because it's obvious that my body is not handling it well.

Rent Me

So yeah like my previous post I said I wanted to move out, so move out I shall.

Firstly, there are so many hurdles for me to pass. It was a rather risky move but I decided to go ahead with it anyway, tempt fate. There are 4 stages and these 4 stages only guarantee me a 25% possibility to move.

1- achieve mutual agreement with landlord to allow me to break my 12month contract.
2- get people to take over my room.
3- actually find myself a new place. talk about pressure! i can end up on the streets
4- talk some financing agreements with parents. $_$

I'm doing a little bit of everything at the moment and all 4 are lol... what did I get myself into! Oh well too late now. Just need some extra time, patience and perseverance.

So currently, stage 1 is done, I have an ad up on gumtree and have gotten a couple of replies. I'm already expecting 3 people to come over here on Thursday to inspect the place. Hopefully it goes well! And tomorrow I'm going to be apartment hunting, 3 places to be exact. Ahh busy busy.

Heaven Hand

I can't sleep god knows why. I tried sleeping at 1240am because I was tired and football got boring when Germany started getting goals but ended up waking up again at 4 because Gessie here decided to tell me that the heater was fried. But it's not really her fault, I didn't really get much sleep anyway kept turning.

I miss 2 people but both of them are usually busy :(

Lady Gaga Stuff

Wesley kept me in suspense and horror for a few days not knowing what I got from Michael. He kept telling me that it's BIG, it's limited edition and it is kinda gay if he was seen with it. ... not funny Wes.


But lol I was so happy after knowing what it was! A limited edition autographed Lady Gaga picture frame! It comes with the certificate and all. Yes I know the signature is freaking small in the picture, least I havee it wahah


While I'm at it I'll just add this. Went with Kevin and a bunch of his friends to watch Lady Gaga at Rod Laver Arena few months ago when internet was still a pain.


It's everything you would expect I suppose, many outfits = much changing needed = much potong stim because gaga disappear. She has the voice to be so bimbotic.

Away

A bit behind with the amount of posts I set out for myself to post. I was away for the past few days, crashed at another friends apartment at the city. I like that way of living but also cannot stand having to sit in a lift with different people everyday? I am that anti-social/people.

Anyways, I was so stressed today that I woke up at 8. I never wake up at 8 o_o but I do hope this will be the start of a domino effect, a life changing event for many early mornings to come. hahaa who am I kidding.

Our Magic Hour

Random shots of "Our Magic Hour". When I used to jog earlier this year I would pass by this and every time I passed it I would stop and take a picture. So the sun is pretty much gradually setting in these pictures. I like how retro it looks.


The Yarra Bike Trail is quite nice to walk despite it being a stone throw away from the city and directly next to a highway?! it reminds me a lot about Taiping Lake Gardens. The Botanical Gardens is on the left which is why the picture looks as though there's a huge ass forest next to the skyscrapers.

Studio Ghibli

I have almost the whole Ghibli dvd set passed down from my elder sis. I cannot really remember when but she wanted to sell them away on eBay and said I could watch it before she lists it for sale. Years have passed and now they're mine. lol


Hayao Miyazaki films incorporate our relationship with nature, technology and maintaining peace whereby physical violence and bloodshed is not needed, well at least that's the message I got. I was incredibly moved by not only the storyline and fictional characters but also the importance he places on nature shown throughout his films.

So I posted this picture up on twitter a couple of days ago, don't think it makes much sense if you read it properly... I was leaving a note for my parcel? hahah. Anyways, I was rushing for my 9am exam and cincai wrote a note for the postman because my room seems to be noise proof... can't even hear if its raining outside.

Decided to try audioengine A2's out since I read really good reviews about them cept they can be a bit flat straight out from the box but with little adjustments made on your equalizer will do the trick.


What I love bout these speakers are that they're really practical looking and don't look like your typical computer speakers. They look like your normal hi-fi book shelf speakers <3. Initially I wanted to get the the Bose Companion 5, I don't like the logitech z-5500, never fancied :\ but after looking around a bit more I found thesee so yeah why not just test them out first.

It's getting pretty cold these days, nevertheless I still prefer winter over summer anytime. It has something to do with the drastic change of colour and how everyone seems to slow down, very calming. Please excuse Gessie for her horrible looking fringe, lol bad hair day.

Cocktail Day

I had lotsa fun with this. Just decided to do this three days before my exam, got random shizz like lime, grapefruit, pineapple juice, mint and what else I don't really remember. I don't really like alcohol, don't know how to appreciate the taste actually, so anything which its taste resembles least like alcohol I suka.


This I think is called a Cointreautini? lol a mixture of cranberry juice, lime, something something shake it in ice with a shaker and viola. Ended up making a few different kinds before sleeping.

Marble cake

I don't recall marble cake ever looking like this. It just amuses me because it wasn't just a coincidence that both sides were fully chocolate or buttered. It was totally on purpose, she just didn't stir before baking. The cake ended up having big I mean hugee segments of chocolate and butter. :D damn nice.
