So we went to Taman Pertanian?

The jet lag worked to our advantage.

We woke up early.

Wanted to cycle but the line was so long

that when it got to our turn they ran out.

So we walked.

Found out that it was better to 

walk than cycle imo. There were some steep parts

the crappy bicycles just wouldn't cut it.

Saw many people end up getting off

and pushing them bicycles.

rise before dawn, you probs would be able to get more done 

than we three lazy bums did.

Quite a lot happened over the years.

Every year we visit this place and,

even though the original person that introduced us to this place is now long dead and gone in memory,

we still come back and order the same thing.

Sat Emirates for the first time, wasn't as
wow-ing as I thought it would be.

We stayed at KL for a week before going back to Taiping.

Stayed a couple of nights at Kl when we first came back. Usually I have to board two flights to Penang but this time we tried Air AsiaX instead, boy it was shitty. Had really good makan at Spring Garden Restaurant @Klcc with parents

The past four weeks have been crazy fun and overall enjoyable. It was better when my parents left us with the house to ourselves. I can not remember a day when no one came over. Everyday at least a foreign body would enter the house.

Christmas day minum night I think. I had to drive to kl that day itself o_O. First went for some steamboat party at wc's house then stayed awake at my place till 7am, slept 3hrs then drove to kl for relative christmas bbq.

Discern

For the past few days, I've been reading articles mainly about how volatile and unjust my country has become. All I felt while and also after reading was just pure outrage.

Appalled by the lengths we go to in order to voice out and how we get put down by our own people!. The trend these days are demonstrations, what do you do when you want to get heard? ORGANIZE A DEMONSTRATION!!, tear gas and chemically laced water canons discretion is advised. sigh.

I don't even want to get into Perak's political crisis.

The most recent read was about a demonstration by people from Kedah, Terengganu and Kelantan where they protested for Maths and Science to be reverted back to Malay. They claim that this change six years ago has corroded the use of the Malay language.

What is education then?, if not to create well mannered and witty youths of tomorrow, then tell me what is the main reason for education. I say try fixing the more important issues that can be seen just by looking around. For example, the social misfits and misbehavior's by spoiled youth. If action is not even taken on this, schools with the best education facilities and teaching systems would well in my opinion have failed.

We are all currently in a troubled age, even if you and I do not feel it, it is because our parents are currently the umbrellas, our front line of protection.

I always end up saying to myself is, "But what can I do?".

The only way we can save ourselves is if we be discern, identify and be aware of what is happening now then only is change imaginable.

Happy Chinese Ox Year 2009

Hope everyone is having a good chinese new year!. I know many that's working today for the double or even triple pay. As for me I've been stuffing myself aloot with my grandmas cooking. Entertaining ourselves with AOD, playstation, alcohol and gambling.

Soon to start visiting. I've got a head start and have conquered a few. What's different this year is rain. Taiping is raining this year o-o.

Pre-Christmas 08 @ home

This year was busy decorating the house for christmas. Feels nice to walk into a room festively decorated ;D. Since young i usually wasn't involved in this, it was always my mom. Now we're all shopping together buying weird things that we think would fit so long as it looks christmas-sy.


This christmas tree and angel on top has been used for ... like ever since i was born till now. I actually really love christmas, always feel really happy to see everyone else happy and into the whole holiday. I really believed in santa clause and I wrote letters too when i was young, i guess i watched too much television.

But my parents were nice to put presents under the tree.

my mom did not spare the outside either. she later added a mini christmas tree next to it with lights and all =-=.


the car TOO. Hope everyone had a lovely christmas =). I had mine at dominos with friend and a christmas bbq with cousins, an anual gathering thing where we exchange gifts and stuff.

Look at how my body is trying to get away. haha. i'm so extremely not intimidated by her in any way =_=. so not. i'm not!.

I am forced to wear my nerdy glasses everywhere these days =\. My eyesight became so bad after one week at Kl, usually i wear them to drive or watch movies. But when i was there i didn't have to drive but was looking at the road and watching youtube videos. Now everything is flowery and i can't even see the traffic light whether to turn left or right.

Steamboat

Had steamboat last week with some friends. Dad was sweet enough to prepare everything including the stock. Am behind on my blog posts because i got this trojan on my laptop trying to get rid of it, trying not to resort to formatting.

My fav was the quail eggs, lala, mushroom and fu-pei.

our "bartender" for that evening =_=. she mixed up weird combinations of drinks damn yucky. pei had to go to the toilet at 530 am cause of the drinks.





Also was given a plushie shape like a piece of shit, that is now hanging at the back of my car window. This is because my name is max - xi, and the "xi" reminds them of shit. The card given with it was really funny too, wishing me to have a good colon and shit always.
