Setting sail to Tasmania this Wednesday 8pm.
Going via Spirit of Tasmania cruise ship.
Being that i'm a student, we got the Ocean View Recliner seats instead of a room haha. what to do. tight budget.

Will be back by flight on the 22nd. Hopefully still alive to make it to school the next day.


Reaching Devonport, then to Hobart first(pict below), then Launceston
This place is supposed to be really peaceful compared to Hobart. It has really nice lakes and with olden city looks. Also with forest reserves which i think are really cool.


Spending 2nights at Hobart and one at Launceston. Stuff that we're planning to do but aren't 100% sure yet
-whale watching, some jet boat ride thing, cadbury factory, seafood!!, trekking and so on.

Very tired these days . =-=. lazy already. school starting. dooms.
today got pissed couldn't find some office at the city. Had to call up friend to guide me using google maps.
Tomorrow, going to zone 1 and 2 too and frow stopping in the middle (my house) to cook dinner and run back to city.
Having eye appointment tomorrow. Really scared about the outcome.

My power surely has gone up slightly but what i am worried about is my astig. I was trying to cross the road at night the other day and found it SOO hard to guess the distance of how far the car was. Their lights were so flowery. I could have died. I need to wear my glasses more often ... . bah nerd

Both don't like chocolate. But a little is okay.

Ended up buying some pieces for okay prices.

Didn't get the one in the picture. Was so on the fence ... sometimes it looks okay. But sometimes i look like a waitress. i donoo. and ended up not buying that set. oh well.

Anyway, i don't really bother dressing up that much.


coffee today was pretty bad as well o-o.
First time tried this place, the coffee club =-=.
Its nice if you prefer more milk and less caffein?.
Its really smooth going down your throat. But its just fattening milk and frothing.
But bean wise -_- can't taste aroma think he diluted it too much.

Morning suprise

Dan dan is my sister's 9 year old cat. This morning i woke up and he was sleeping next to me. I had somewhat a really good sleep last night, only woke up once =D.

I use to get really annoyed by dan dan. But he was persistent and kept on poking his nose into my life. Recently i just found out that he only sleeps on my bed and not on my sister's anymore. why i donoo =_=.

Its not like i allow them to come in my room. If they manage to sneak in, i don't mind if they don't disturb me.

Well, i guess a year plus living with him. He's not bad company at times. He can get annoying and sleep on my stomach or squash my boobs =_=.
And during winter, when we had no central heating. He use to sit next to me or on my lap when i was studying in the living room.
I use to complain that it was annoying, but i have to admit that i do get some heat from him as well.

Rememberin back, i use to sleep on the couch in the living room(cause the one and only heater was there). It was too cold in my room. Shivered everynight plus it was extra cold cause our apartment was made of double bricks. and i got fat as well. lol.. memories

i just like how clean, practical and nice(display resolution and UI) their systems are. Boot up time is great tooo. Price abit 'upity'. Don't compare it gaming wise. But i think slowly they'll get there ;D.

Just feel many people think, maxing out or super sizing everything is the way to go. You'll just end up, having excess weight for food, or excess wires and wasted space on stuff that you'll rarely even use :\.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. This apple/windows topic can just go on for hours. I'm just one of those XP users reluctant to upgrade to Vista. I guess its my mentality ... knowing that it needs 2gigs of ram, so many annoying long updates =-= will just lag me. Eventhough i know that it is actualy bareable. Plus, i don't wana be those early adopters like when XP just came out it had so many bugs. Thats why you get so many updates. Well the speed of new occuring bugs are the same. yea, nobody cares bout apple cause little people use them and theres no reason to do so either. isn't that good? okay i should stop.. i'm stoppping =_=....... lalala stopping.

Instead, i nearly went crazy while waiting for it to boil.
ok. i tend to exaggerate.
Anyway, thats the pot we used to boil the chong's. Had to boil three batches.
We had 55 chongs in total.

However, one perished during the boiling procedure, resulting in a total of 54 chong's.


Tunes from my comp accompanied us while we were figuring out how to wrap the damn chong -_-.

To be really honest. I hate wrapping. I can't even wrap a proper present. I get people to do them for me, just feel that its so insignificant like that(i got it from my mamaa~). So yeah, when wrapping the chong it was rather straining for me -_-.

i was like spastic.



My sister fried the filling and i fried the rice.
I followed 'Guest''s tip and yeah i tried not to over fry the rice.

While frying the rice and meat, we needed to add like osyter sauces and other crap.
I suddenly remembered my chemistry practical teacher saying, "Chemistry practs are like cooking, if you can cook, you can do chem easy as that.".

In a way its true, but i found myself being so -_- meticulous?. Every measurement has to be so precise like 4 tablespoons equals 4 tablespoons, but my sister just goes by guess.

Off course what! If you don't measure properly during experiment, your results come out wrong!. RIGHT.

Dark Choco Cookie

made cookies today. Didn't make this mickey on purpose. This big piece was actualy the last of the left overs, got lazy and made a big ball and used all the remaining chocolate chips.

Made two batches one with and one without chocolate chips. I personally don't like chocolate chips on my cookie :\ too sweet i think. More bitter better. dark choco yums.

Had to wake up at like 12noon -_- which is sorta early for me @@ cause i slept at like 7am ? -s- bad habit. Had to go to the market and get ingredients for bak chang.

I love the smell of bamboo leaves omg they're like weed. So nostalgic. I can put my head in the bag and just smell them ;D muahahaheho.

hmm, im sorta scared cause i made the pork belly marinade, if something is wrong with it im to blame -_-. Hopefully tomorrow nothing goes wrong when frying the rice. *crosses fingers*(yea like it helps -_-) bah.

I think we went abit over board. Got like 2kgs of rice and 2kgs of pork belly. o-o. may die of over wrapping. and i keep telling myself its all good training for the future! ... =-=: heh.

Todays mission was to clean the bathroom. Like entirely. Sinks, doorknobs, towel handles, walls ... all in the name of my ocd sister. ;D


with my trusty toothbrush for small spots and a sponge the size of my palm i scrub everywhere.


this is only one of the gross parts =-=. Imagine four people sharing one common bathroom. Plus i delayed abit cause i had exams. Took me so long to scrub all four sides. bah



hmm :\. glass wall and only a toothbrush. Needed like 2 hours, scrubbing scum -_-. I'm still finding the best technique though to wash the bathroom. According to my sis her way is to use crazy ammounts of JIF, so you don't have to exert so much strenght. But isn't it like really potent =_= bad for skin.

today i was looking at voluntary jobs at seek.com.au jobsite.
Might be considering, make use of my time. Since it has been only two days since my holidays i alread feel useless.

Some people are thinking that i have become this anti-social person. That they don't hear me going out anymore. I do, i still shop like mad. Its just that going for coffee or movies with friends have become boring to blog about don't you think.

Audiophile

I'm an audiophile and i aspire to be a darn great one.
Slowly
but surely. ;D

My love for SOUND, started a long time ago. When i started listening to music from my parents. They exposed me to various kinds of genres jazz, blues, classical and etc. I found myself loving the sound of saxaphones. But there wasn't anyone teaching. So i had to learn the piano instead.

From there, i started gaining more knowledge on sounds. How to harmonize them, tunes which flow smoothly into your ears and into the subconscious mind. How to express emotion and deliver messages without the use of body language and vocals. Even so, i still loved jazz and blues. It's the sound of unused chords and notes blended so perfectly to form music so appealing.


I then tried other instruments, the guitar and drums. The guitar was a fun one. I tried every genre i could get out of my instructor. Learnt how to play acoustic, solos, metal and rock for the electricguitar, to country folk and flaminco!. People might think its a skill to boast, but personally my thirst to understand and know how one instrument can produce different sounds is just phenomenal.

I found out that im in love with sounds and not so much the music.

The drums thought me about beats, and be more aware of them. It's really moving. Slowly i found out that i don't care about music.. or the lyrics.. . I realised i was listening to the instruments strings bass and how rich it sounds when all combined. The quality of the sound how crisp it is.

Slowly i became obsessed with sound quality and to get that i had to get good systems. I respect all kinds of music genres. All being special in their own way, only waiting for a pair of ears which are suited for it. For bass i find techno, trance, certain jazz and blues. For frequency, i find orchestras, symphonies and acoustics.

I use to love alternative rock, metal and grunge(i use to play it on my guitar when im angry). But i think that phase is over. I guess im older o-o?, can't hear it for a long time. Too much noise(like photos with noise...), you dont hear anything and can't appreciate the sound, no pun intended.

Personally, i lean towards more to bass when it comes to sound. For that people always misunderstand me for me for being a LALA on Drugs girl that only wants to be high. Its true that when i hear sounds that are good and creatively pieced together, i go high, its freakin better than drugs.

But well, i don't expect people to understand, im jut weird... . I will continue to build my empire of great sound systems ;D. Currently having a 42neodynium AT headphone ;D heaven with a x-fi soundcard. That will do for now, while living with my sister.

Had my second last exam today. The last one is this coming monday. Thank god that i have the weekends off.

I haven't been sleeping much at all. More like none. I do take naps like from 9am-12pm before my exam starts at 2.30pm. Thats about it.

And i cant sleep either when i try to sleep. I dun take coffee or tea to stay awake. I'm just awake. =_=.

I'll buy some vitamin drink that costs 4$ before entering and after the exam treat myself with a bottle of coke $3.5(makes me feel like i should really buy food). Go home and start the whole process again.

At least today, went ate indonesian. For once i had real food and a good but not so sane talk (since all of us are rather sleep deprived) with friends. We did snack shopping for the study weekend, and they were stocking on red bull. I didn't know you were only supposed to take a maximum 1 1/2 bottles daily. Eventhough its recommended la but still so little?.

Ma college was smoking and drugs, here its red bull. I don't really see the 'cool' in doin it. I can't wait for sweet sweet rest ... . hopefully

Anyways, gessie is sick. I hope she gets better, rest drink lots of cooling tea. =-=

Highlights

well not much happened. I had two assignments to hand in last friday. One was a 3000 words report and the other a programming assignment. I was hmm well going into madness from thursday till saturday.

Came Sunday i was happily watching movies =D.

Some interesting things were that:

+ pei hwa thought I was running away from home, back to malaysia?.
I called her one morning at the bus station and said, "Hey, I'm at the bus station now ... I have a problem". haha

I just wanted to ask for her opinion on something actually. But ended up talking for about 40mins on the bus on the way to school

+ Friend locked himself out of his room with the keyinside as well. It's not fine when you have 3 assignments to hand in tomorrow. He was panicking called me ans was contemplating whether or not to bang the door down and buy one back later. haha but he got the landlord later.

+ Friend was so stupid and cut his finger while opening a baked beans can. Deep cut. bleeded everywhere. Could see his flesh inside. He saw some white thing and thought a bean went inside and decided to press it out only to find out it wasn't. =D.

will be gettin him a can opener for his birthday.

This year gessie and I went to help my grandmama who's hokkien actually she's hakka, but whatever its still the same family ;D.

the coolest thing about pai ti kong at Taiping is the ammount of illegal fireworks you get to witness !.

Neighbours all compete to see who displays a better show and in the end people like ME benefit lol ~_~. We got to see a 360 degree angle of fireworks, crappy ones to super expensive ones and even japanese lanterns? (the ones that float up into the air) too.

My grandma was abit @@ ... she wanted us to pile it up like a hill and like take u 1/4 of the road?? it was so scary ok -_-, was afraid we get hit by cars and everytme they passed by pieces of "gold" might fly away. anyway pictures ;D

Happy Mama's day

A very special day for mummy~. Hope everyone took some time off their hands to wish their moms. =). It got me thinking though, how about those people who have no mothers anymore. It's rather hard to cope with that i think?. Especially if you were close to them. Never really thought about that before. oh well ;).

Better Days


Sigh. If only i can SIGH the loudest SIGH in the world. Just to let go some stress and tiredness, i will. I think i feel like trash these days. Don't know what other words to describe myself lol ... maybe pms visiting.

I can feel my life slowly draining away, im drying out, evaporating. haha i remember instead of saying, "that person dissapeared dono go where already". Zoey will say, "dono where that person evaporated already" lol.

This week i have three assignments to hand in and plus i don't sleep like a human being (pei hwa you memang alien, this has nothing to do with u. U DAMN WEIRDDD.). I think it is beginning to reach its peak on my body and mind. Becoming weak.

But i cannot afford to stop. GO GO GO GO!.

I wish for someones shoulder that i could use to lay my head on to sleep peacefully and happy just for 10minutes. Even better if it was yang's shoulder lol.

But i've jumped on this train of assignments and exams, i just have to wait till it reaches my platform. im patient and always hoping, few more months.

Kinda naughty today decided to go out ;D breathe a while. Yesterday's exam was alright, but it was a cold day and i wore shorts o_o great. Also, Sam (sis bf) was so nice to pick me up from the train station cause it was dark and they wanted to eat dinner already.

My mum called me when i was on the bus on the way back telling me that my dad was sick having bad coughs. I am abit worried though, i kept telling my mom to take care of him, i hope he recovers soon.

Today was not bad, went out shopping with the boys and one girl. I had extra cash and decided to shopping for laok ^^. Found some great finds hehehe. But what i really wanted to give him none lor ><. nvm that one next time only get for him. Miss him these days sigh i have assginments and exams.

These are cinnamon slippers. Yes they smell like cinnamon haha xD. I was telling someone i wanted to buy slippers one day and my friend said that i can have this pair. Initialy wanted to throw away cause well yeah i can see why anyone would wear them out~. So i took them.

I'm pilled up with assignments and exams this and the coming week. Have one computer systems assignment(i'm building circuits!) due tomorrow plus an in class marketing exam. Saturday another exam at the weirdest hour 4:15pm o-o and next Tuesday another assignment to hand in. GOD bless me!

weird juice





Today i bought this carton of juice, really weird.
As you can see its named "Breakfast juice". The experience i had when drinking this was o_O. LOL. I don't know how to discribe akward i guess.

Smells like banana and lemon, tastes like mango and banana and suddenly you get orange pulps and small pineapple chunks @@". haha. But its healthy though, claim to have added no sugar at all. i love juice.

Daylight Savings time!


Lol, HuahUahuaha. Why am i happy?. It's daylight savings! the day when we turn our clocks backwards an hour.

This means that:
Daylight savings = 1hour extra of sleep zzzz~ xD

It doesn't happen all over Australia though. It's because during winter the sun sets earlier, at most for melbourne its around 5:00pm. After my class at 5pm i come out the sky is already pitch black lols and cold. But anyway, they do this is so because we can have more daylight than darkness. Plus we save more electricity and get to do more in the day something like that.

Today. I woke up at 1130 by the irritating radio music that was playing outside. I would have screamed at the person who switched on the music so loud if it wasn't my sister lol =-=:. I was reluctant to go out today despite saying that i could on my previous post, but i promised a friend that i would so i whacked myself out of bed.

I opened the door and the aroma of burnt bacon meat and sound of crackling oil aroused my senses. However, i knew definitely that i had no share of the food. I then proceeded to take my bath and then out to the trainstation. I took nothing but my mobile, cards and keys.

I watched Nim's Island with some friends. We were typical cheapo students that bought a carton of 2litre juice to share and snacks from coles. After the movie, i bought something that would satisfy my raging annoyance towards myself having to constantly pull up my pants wohoo! xD.

The Polar one

LOL today i a great day! and Happy Birthday to my friend's polar bear Big Bum! (soft toy) who is 15 today!.

I love friday's because i only have one class which is from 9am-12pm and it is my favourite class ;D. Programming is heaps of fun, and friday is lab session i get to use the comp and not listen to someone talk. Plus, my teacher is really nice he looks like Derek!.

I think i'm having this burst of energy suddenly because i just slept from 8pm-11pm O.O. Anyhoo, this weekend i feel happy because i have no assignments to hand up (got pushed one week forward) which means i'm allowed to GET OUT of the house.

Since, you all know i'm crazy over technology and gadgets. Mobile phones in particular are one of m favourites. Recently, i found myself attracted to a Lg phone, sounds weird but yah it caught my attention ;D. Despite everyone telling me the same thing " Really arh?, lg wo", i still like it. I guess its chemistry ;D i'm lovestruck.


The specs and build of this phone satisfy me as an average phone. Will be looking forward to its arrival ;D.
