The unit that I'm renting was listed for sale since end of last year, 8 months and counting it's still for sale. Every week without fail there will be at least one inspection, maximum three. Regardless, after a couple of months it starts to get real annoying to constantly remember when are the inspections, when to wake up and disappear when they come. Like hello? you think my life revolves around you and your inspection time? I pay rent and deserve to use the space whenever and however I like to, you are disturbing me. Understand that.
He usually notifies me through text on inspection dates and times. Rules are that they are supposed to notify tenants 24hrs prior to inspection. So few days ago, I got a text from him at 2:57AM notifying me about an inspection tomorrow at 5:30pm and another on Saturday. Obviously I figured out that it could be a technical problem on his end but because this inspection crap that has been going on for such a looong time I decided to send him an email saying that I got an email from him at such a ridiculous time of the night and that it is not acceptable, I am not happy and hope that it will not reoccur in the future. Hoping that he would apologize and explain that it was due to some technical difficulty he decides to blame me?
Oh shucks, I'm sorry I forgot that unit 409/377 is in another timezone! my bad. I love how he conveys his professionalism through spelling mistakes and improper sentencing. The worse thing you can do in a service based industry is to blame the customer. It is no surprise as to why the unit is not selling, no matter how much I clean and tidy up the place.
I've had another similar experience with this company which was equally as HORRIBLE and EXCRUCIATING as this one by another staff of theirs named Anne Ridolfi. I am not going to play the race card by saying that I am Asian and international therefore they can brush me off like dandruff. I will say that because they think I am a student they can easily get away with it by saying something to scare me off... hmm I suggest you try harder.
Anne Ridolfi is one of the laziest real estate agents I've ever seen. I had problems connecting a phone line to the unit to activate my internet connection. I didn't have access to the room with all the telephone connections and requested her assistance. She shrugged me off saying that she doesn't know what I am saying and that she has no authority.
If you noticed, I sent it to all the staff at Planinsek that had nothing to do with this problem.. but guess what she replied -_-..
It seems that formality lacks throughout the whole company. I took the number and called the body corporate, I could not even get past the receptionist because I am not the owner. They will not listen to me a tenant, requests like these can only be asked by the property manager that the owner nominated. I told them my problem, they even felt bad for me and said they can't do anything... because I am not the owner. I was so desperate to get past the receptionist and talk to Kate the manager in charge of my apartment that I got one of their staffs number from their site and asked her to pass a message to Kate, it obviously didn't work she got freaked out. hahaha
Mad and filled with rage.. but happy that she said that. To my avail, I decided to use it to against her.
I sent Body Corporate an email saying,
To the Body Corporate(Ross Hunt) of building 377 Burwood Road Hawthorn,
I am requesting to speak to the Body Corp regarding problems that I am having with fixing a phone line to this unit(409). Full details of the problem are outlined in purple below. According to Anne Ridolfi my property manager from Planinsek Property(highlighted in yellow), I am able to speak to someone regarding this. However, I have tried calling Body Corp several times and was told that only the owner or selected representative/agent can only be put through. Please advise on further actions that should be taken.

I am not sure that you understand that I have given you a few numbers to call. I have contacted Body Corporate several times and they advised me for you to call them. If you like you can contact consumer affairs I have being going back and forwards with this matter.
They replied Anne, I rejoice
So that's my crappy story.
Oh yea, she replied me so nicely after that.. even started with Dear, Maxie... Lol
